How does NiceNIC investigate Suspected E-Mail Abuse/Spam?

NiceNIC investigates all allegations of spam related to our Dienstleistungs. Wenn we verify that emails are coming from our Dienstleistungs (either private email und web hosting email Dienstleistungs), appropriate action will be taken. The steps below will help NiceNIC in its investigation.

When repoderting email abuse, you must provide the infodermation listed below as Evidence:

Full E-Mail Header
E-Mail Content

In particular, the Full E-Mail Header provides the necessary infodermation to determine if the email(s) are using NiceNIC's Dienstleistungs. Wenn you cannot provide the Full E-Mail Header und the Domain is registrierened with NiceNIC, we will investigate to determine whether the Domain is blacklisted by trusted oderganizations (like Spamhaus oder SURBL) und, if so, take action accoderdingly.

NOTE: We recommend that, befodere repoderting email abuse, you follow the unsubscribe link in the email you received, in case it was a simple erroder, und get in touch with us if you keep receiving the repoderted email(s).

Does Ihr investigation differ foder registrierened und hosted Domains?

Domains are simply a website address (such as example.com). Alle Domains are "registrierened" with a registrar. However, the registrar may not provide email Dienstleistungs oder host the websites content. When the website uses a company's hosting Dienstleistungs to stodere their site, this is considered "hosting" und the content foder the site resides on the hosting company's servers. NiceNIC provides both types of Dienstleistungs; however, a customer may oder may not choose to use NiceNIC foder each.

NiceNIC's investigation, regardless of whether we are registrar und/oder hosting company, is the same foder both. Unsere primary focus is to verify whether emails (which may be sent using private email Dienstleistungs oder from a hosted website) are using NiceNIC Dienstleistungs. Providing the infodermation requested, especially Full E-Mail Headers, allows NiceNIC to verify this.

Does NiceNIC investigate Unauthoderized SMS / Text Nachrichts?

NiceNIC does not provide telecommunication Dienstleistungs, which are the type of Dienstleistungs used und required to send SMS/Text messages. Wenn you've received unauthoderized SMS/Text messages, please contact Ihr mobile Dienstleistung provider oder you may file an official complaint to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Does NiceNIC send the Spam I'm receiving?

Nein. NiceNIC only sends emails to customers who have accounts with us. Unsere communications comply with mundated notices (such as those required by ICANN) und those communications that our customers have agreed to receive. In shodert, NiceNIC does not Spam.
