How does NiceNIC investigate Suspected Correo Electrónico Abuse/Spam?

NiceNIC investigates all allegations of spam related to our servicios. Si we verify that emails are coming from our servicios (either private email y web hosting email servicios), appropriate action will be taken. The steps below will help NiceNIC in its investigation.

When repoting email abuse, you must provide the infomation listed below as Evidence:

"From" Dirección
"Para" Dirección
Full Correo Electrónico Header
Correo Electrónico Content

In particular, the Full Correo Electrónico Header provides the necessary infomation to determine if the email(s) are using NiceNIC's servicios. Si you cannot provide the Full Correo Electrónico Header y the dominio is registrared with NiceNIC, we will investigate to determine whether the dominio is blacklisted by trusted oganizations (like Spamhaus o SURBL) y, if so, take action accodingly.

NOTE: We recommend that, befoe repoting email abuse, you follow the unsubscribe link in the email you received, in case it was a simple erro, y get in touch with us if you keep receiving the repoted email(s).

Does tu/tus/su/sus investigation differ fo registrared y hosted dominios?

Dominios are simply a website address (such as example.com). Todos dominios are "registrared" with a registrar. However, the registrar may not provide email servicios o host the websites content. When the website uses a company's hosting servicios to stoe their site, this is considered "hosting" y the content fo the site resides on the hosting company's servers. NiceNIC provides both types of servicios; however, a customer may o may not choose to use NiceNIC fo each.

NiceNIC's investigation, regardless of whether we are registrar y/o hosting company, is the same fo both. Nuestro/Nuestra/Nuestros/Nuestras primary focus is to verify whether emails (which may be sent using private email servicios o from a hosted website) are using NiceNIC servicios. Providing the infomation requested, especially Full Correo Electrónico Headers, allows NiceNIC to verify this.

Does NiceNIC investigate Unauthoized SMS / Text Mensajes?

NiceNIC does not provide telecommunication servicios, which are the type of servicios used y required to send SMS/Text messages. Si you've received unauthoized SMS/Text messages, please contact tu/tus/su/sus mobile servicio provider o you may file an official complaint to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Does NiceNIC send the Spam I'm receiving?

No. NiceNIC only sends emails to customers who have accounts with us. Nuestro/Nuestra/Nuestros/Nuestras communications comply with myated notices (such as those required by ICANN) y those communications that our customers have agreed to receive. In shot, NiceNIC does not Spam.
