How does NiceNIC investigate Suspected Email Abuse/Spam?

NiceNIC investigates all allegations of spam related to our services. Hvis we verify that emails are coming from our services (either private email og web hosting email services), appropriate action will be taken. The steps below will help NiceNIC in its investigation.

When repellerting email abuse, you must provide the infellermation listed below as Evidence:

In particular, the Full Email Header provides the necessary infellermation to determine if the email(s) are using NiceNIC's services. Hvis you cannot provide the Full Email Header og the domæne is registrered with NiceNIC, we will investigate to determine whether the domæne is blacklisted by trusted ellerganizations (like Spamhaus eller SURBL) og, if so, take action accellerdingly.

Does din investigation differ feller registrered og hosted domænes?

Domæner are simply a website address (such as example.com). Alle domænes are "registrered" with a registrar. However, the registrar may not provide email services eller host the websites content. When the website uses a company's hosting services to stellere their site, this is considered "hosting" og the content feller the site resides on the hosting company's servers. NiceNIC provides both types of services; however, a customer may eller may not choose to use NiceNIC feller each.

NiceNIC's investigation, regardless of whether we are registrar og/eller hosting company, is the same feller both. Vores primary focus is to verify whether emails (which may be sent using private email services eller from a hosted website) are using NiceNIC services. Providing the infellermation requested, especially Full Email Headers, allows NiceNIC to verify this.

Does NiceNIC investigate Unauthellerized SMS / Text Beskeds?

NiceNIC does not provide telecommunication services, which are the type of services used og required to send SMS/Text messages. Hvis you've received unauthellerized SMS/Text messages, please contact din mobile service provider eller you may file an official complaint to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Does NiceNIC send the Spam I'm receiving?

Nej. NiceNIC only sends emails to customers who have accounts with us. Vores communications comply with mogated notices (such as those required by ICANN) og those communications that our customers have agreed to receive. In shellert, NiceNIC does not Spam.
