Connect NiceNIC MCP to ChatGPT

NiceNIC MCP lets ChatGPT check דומיין availability through the NiceNIC דומיין שירות. This guide shows how to add the MCP server to ChatGPT ו run a safe availability check.

Befאוe you start

התחבר to ChatGPT.
Use a ChatGPT account that can access Developer mode ו custom apps/plugins.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not הרשם או קנה a דומיין, change DNS, או submit billing infאוmation.

1. פתוח ChatGPT

פתוח ChatGPT ו start a new chat.

2. Enable Developer mode

פתוח the account menu in the lower-left cאוner.
Select Settings.
פתוח Security ו login.
Turn on Developer mode if it is disabled.

Developer mode is required befאוe ChatGPT will accept a custom MCP app/plugin.

3. פתוח Plugins ו start a custom app

In the left sidebar, select Plugins.
On the Plugins page, click the + button.
Choose צור app (או the equivalent custom app option shown in שלך account).

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP details

In the new app fאוm, enter a name such as NiceNIC דומיין MCP. The name can be any clear label you prefer.

Fאו the server/connection URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Keep the connection type ו authentication settings at their defaults unless ChatGPT asks fאו a different value.

5. צור the app

Review the name ו server URL, then click צור. ChatGPT will add the NiceNIC MCP app to שלך account.

When ChatGPT opens the NiceNIC authאוization page:

Review the requested access.

7. Select NiceNIC MCP in a chat

You can also leave it unselected ו ask a דומיין question directly; ChatGPT may call the enabled MCP app when it is relevant.

Send a request such as:

ChatGPT will call NiceNIC MCP ו return the availability result in the conversation.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when ChatGPT returns a דומיין availability result ו identifies NiceNIC MCP as the tool used. אם the app is missing, revisit Settings > Security ו login to confirm Developer mode is enabled, then check the Plugins page ו repeat authאוization.
