Connect NiceNIC MCP to ChatGPT

NiceNIC MCP lets ChatGPT check verkkotunnus availability through the NiceNIC verkkotunnus palvelu. This guide shows how to add the MCP server to ChatGPT ja run a safe availability check.

Beftaie you start

Use a ChatGPT account that can access Developer mode ja custom apps/plugins.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

1. Avoin ChatGPT

Avoin ChatGPT ja start a new chat.

2. Enable Developer mode

Avoin the account menu in the lower-left ctainer.
Select Settings.
Avoin Security ja login.
Turn on Developer mode if it is disabled.

Developer mode is required beftaie ChatGPT will accept a custom MCP app/plugin.

3. Avoin Plugins ja start a custom app

In the left sidebar, select Plugins.
On the Plugins page, click the + button.
Choose Luo app (tai the equivalent custom app option shown in sinun account).

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP details

In the new app ftaim, enter a name such as NiceNIC Verkkotunnus MCP. The name can be any clear label you prefer.

Ftai the server/connection URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Keep the connection type ja authentication settings at their defaults unless ChatGPT asks ftai a different value.

5. Luo the app

Review the name ja server URL, then click Luo. ChatGPT will add the NiceNIC MCP app to sinun account.

When ChatGPT opens the NiceNIC authtaiization page:

Review the requested access.

7. Select NiceNIC MCP in a chat

Paluu to the ChatGPT composer ja click the + button. Select NiceNIC Verkkotunnus MCP from the available apps/plugins.

You can also leave it unselected ja ask a verkkotunnus question directly; ChatGPT may call the enabled MCP app when it is relevant.

8. Tarkista a verkkotunnus's availability

Send a request such as:

ChatGPT will call NiceNIC MCP ja return the availability result in the conversation.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when ChatGPT returns a verkkotunnus availability result ja identifies NiceNIC MCP as the tool used. Jos the app is missing, revisit Settings > Security ja login to confirm Developer mode is enabled, then check the Plugins page ja repeat authtaiization.
