Connect NiceNIC MCP to ChatGPT

NiceNIC MCP lets ChatGPT check домейн availability through the NiceNIC домейн услуга. This guide shows how to add the MCP server to ChatGPT и run a safe availability check.

Befилиe you start

Вход to ChatGPT.
Use a ChatGPT account that can access Developer mode и custom apps/plugins.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

1. Отворен ChatGPT

Отворен ChatGPT и start a new chat.

2. Enable Developer mode

Отворен the account menu in the lower-left cилиner.
Select Settings.
Отворен Security и login.
Turn on Developer mode if it is disabled.

Developer mode is required befилиe ChatGPT will accept a custom MCP app/plugin.

3. Отворен Plugins и start a custom app

In the left sidebar, select Plugins.
On the Plugins page, click the + button.
Choose Създай app (или the equivalent custom app option shown in вашия account).

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP details

In the new app fилиm, enter a name such as NiceNIC Домейн MCP. The name can be any clear label you prefer.

Fили the server/connection URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Keep the connection type и authentication settings at their defaults unless ChatGPT asks fили a different value.

5. Създай the app

Review the name и server URL, then click Създай. ChatGPT will add the NiceNIC MCP app to вашия account.

6. Вход и authилиize access

When ChatGPT opens the NiceNIC authилиization page:

Review the requested access.

7. Select NiceNIC MCP in a chat

You can also leave it unselected и ask a домейн question directly; ChatGPT may call the enabled MCP app when it is relevant.

Verify the connection
