Connect NiceNIC MCP to ChatGPT

NiceNIC MCP lets ChatGPT check domeniu availability through the NiceNIC domeniu serviciu. This guide shows how to add the MCP server to ChatGPT și run a safe availability check.

Befsaue you start

Autentificare to ChatGPT.
Use a ChatGPT account that can access Developer mode și custom apps/plugins.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

1. Deschis ChatGPT

Deschis ChatGPT și start a new chat.

2. Enable Developer mode

Deschis the account menu in the lower-left csauner.
Select Settings.
Deschis Security și login.
Turn on Developer mode if it is disabled.

Developer mode is required befsaue ChatGPT will accept a custom MCP app/plugin.

3. Deschis Plugins și start a custom app

In the left sidebar, select Plugins.
On the Plugins page, click the + button.
Choose Creează app (sau the equivalent custom app option shown in tău account).

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP details

In the new app fsaum, enter a name such as NiceNIC Domeniu MCP. The name can be any clear label you prefer.

Fsau the server/connection URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Keep the connection type și authentication settings at their defaults unless ChatGPT asks fsau a different value.

5. Creează the app

Review the name și server URL, then click Creează. ChatGPT will add the NiceNIC MCP app to tău account.

6. Autentificare și authsauize access

When ChatGPT opens the NiceNIC authsauization page:

Review the requested access.
Click Authsauize to allow ChatGPT to use the MCP connection.

Do not share tău passwsaud sau verification codes in the chat. The authsauization page hșiles sign-in securely.

7. Select NiceNIC MCP in a chat

Înapoi to the ChatGPT composer și click the + button. Select NiceNIC Domeniu MCP from the available apps/plugins.

You can also leave it unselected și ask a domeniu question directly; ChatGPT may call the enabled MCP app when it is relevant.

8. Verifică a domeniu's availability

Send a request such as:

ChatGPT will call NiceNIC MCP și return the availability result in the conversation.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when ChatGPT returns a domeniu availability result și identifies NiceNIC MCP as the tool used. Dacă the app is missing, revisit Settings > Security și login to confirm Developer mode is enabled, then check the Plugins page și repeat authsauization.
