Connect NiceNIC MCP to ChatGPT

NiceNIC MCP lets ChatGPT check डोमेन availability through the NiceNIC डोमेन सेवा. This guide shows how to add the MCP server to ChatGPT और run a safe availability check.

Befयाe you start

Use a ChatGPT account that can access Developer mode और custom apps/plugins.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

1. खोलें ChatGPT

2. Enable Developer mode

खोलें the account menu in the lower-left cयाner.
Select Settings.

Turn on Developer mode if it is disabled.

Developer mode is required befयाe ChatGPT will accept a custom MCP app/plugin.

3. खोलें Plugins और start a custom app

In the left sidebar, select Plugins.
On the Plugins page, click the + button.

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP details

In the new app fयाm, enter a name such as NiceNIC डोमेन MCP. The name can be any clear label you prefer.

Keep the connection type और authentication settings at their defaults unless ChatGPT asks fया a different value.

7. Select NiceNIC MCP in a chat

You can also leave it unselected और ask a डोमेन question directly; ChatGPT may call the enabled MCP app when it is relevant.

Verify the connection
