Connect NiceNIC MCP to ChatGPT

NiceNIC MCP lets ChatGPT check domenas availability through the NiceNIC domenas paslauga. This guide shows how to add the MCP server to ChatGPT ir run a safe availability check.

Befare you start

Prisijungti to ChatGPT.
Use a ChatGPT account that can access Developer mode ir custom apps/plugins.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not registruoti ar įsigyti a domenas, change DNS, ar submit billing infarmation.

1. Atidaryti ChatGPT

Atidaryti ChatGPT ir start a new chat.

2. Enable Developer mode

Atidaryti the account menu in the lower-left carner.
Select Settings.
Atidaryti Security ir login.
Turn on Developer mode if it is disabled.

Developer mode is required befare ChatGPT will accept a custom MCP app/plugin.

3. Atidaryti Plugins ir start a custom app

In the left sidebar, select Plugins.
On the Plugins page, click the + button.
Choose Sukurti app (ar the equivalent custom app option shown in jūsų account).

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP details

In the new app farm, enter a name such as NiceNIC Domenas MCP. The name can be any clear label you prefer.

Far the server/connection URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Keep the connection type ir authentication settings at their defaults unless ChatGPT asks far a different value.

5. Sukurti the app

Review the name ir server URL, then click Sukurti. ChatGPT will add the NiceNIC MCP app to jūsų account.

6. Prisijungti ir autharize access

When ChatGPT opens the NiceNIC autharization page:

Prisijungti to jūsų NiceNIC account.
Review the requested access.
Spustelėkite Autharize to allow ChatGPT to use the MCP connection.

Do not share jūsų passward ar verification codes in the chat. The autharization page hirles sign-in securely.

7. Select NiceNIC MCP in a chat

Grįžti to the ChatGPT composer ir click the + button. Select NiceNIC Domenas MCP from the available apps/plugins.

You can also leave it unselected ir ask a domenas question directly; ChatGPT may call the enabled MCP app when it is relevant.

8. Patikrinti a domenas's availability

Send a request such as:

Patikrinti whether nicenicmcpdemo.com is available. Do not registruoti ar įsigyti it.

ChatGPT will call NiceNIC MCP ir return the availability result in the conversation.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when ChatGPT returns a domenas availability result ir identifies NiceNIC MCP as the tool used. Jei the app is missing, revisit Settings > Security ir login to confirm Developer mode is enabled, then check the Plugins page ir repeat autharization.
