Connect NiceNIC MCP to ChatGPT

NiceNIC MCP lets ChatGPT check domēns availability through the NiceNIC domēns pakalpojums. This guide shows how to add the MCP server to ChatGPT un run a safe availability check.

Befvaie you start

Pierakstīties to ChatGPT.
Use a ChatGPT account that can access Developer mode un custom apps/plugins.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not reģistrēt vai iegādāties a domēns, change DNS, vai submit billing infvaimation.

1. Atvērt ChatGPT

Atvērt ChatGPT un start a new chat.

2. Enable Developer mode

Atvērt the account menu in the lower-left cvainer.
Select Settings.
Atvērt Security un login.
Turn on Developer mode if it is disabled.

Developer mode is required befvaie ChatGPT will accept a custom MCP app/plugin.

3. Atvērt Plugins un start a custom app

In the left sidebar, select Plugins.
On the Plugins page, click the + button.
Choose Izveidot app (vai the equivalent custom app option shown in jūsu account).

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP details

In the new app fvaim, enter a name such as NiceNIC Domēns MCP. The name can be any clear label you prefer.

Fvai the server/connection URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Keep the connection type un authentication settings at their defaults unless ChatGPT asks fvai a different value.

5. Izveidot the app

Review the name un server URL, then click Izveidot. ChatGPT will add the NiceNIC MCP app to jūsu account.

6. Pierakstīties un authvaiize access

When ChatGPT opens the NiceNIC authvaiization page:

Pierakstīties to jūsu NiceNIC account.
Review the requested access.
Noklikšķiniet Authvaiize to allow ChatGPT to use the MCP connection.

Do not share jūsu passwvaid vai verification codes in the chat. The authvaiization page hunles sign-in securely.

7. Select NiceNIC MCP in a chat

Atpakaļ to the ChatGPT composer un click the + button. Select NiceNIC Domēns MCP from the available apps/plugins.

You can also leave it unselected un ask a domēns question directly; ChatGPT may call the enabled MCP app when it is relevant.

8. Pārbaudīt a domēns's availability

Send a request such as:

Pārbaudīt whether nicenicmcpdemo.com is available. Do not reģistrēt vai iegādāties it.

ChatGPT will call NiceNIC MCP un return the availability result in the conversation.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when ChatGPT returns a domēns availability result un identifies NiceNIC MCP as the tool used. Ja the app is missing, revisit Settings > Security un login to confirm Developer mode is enabled, then check the Plugins page un repeat authvaiization.
