.IN Domain Registration Requirements
To register a .IN domain through NiceNIC, use genuine registrant details, a contact email accepted by the .IN registration process, and identification that matches the domain holder.
Choose an email address that can receive verification messages
NiceNIC's .IN registration process does not accept temporary-mail services such as Guerrilla Mail, 10 Minute Mail, Temp Mail, Mailinator or EmailOnDeck. It also does not accept registrant email addresses from Proton Mail, Tuta/Tutanota, Mailfence, Hushmail or StartMail.
If you normally use one of these services, arrange another permanent, accessible email address before ordering.
Identification for your registrant type
Individuals should have one of the following available: passport, driving licence, government-issued ID or another accepted identity document.
Companies and organizations should prepare a Certificate of Incorporation, Business Registration Certificate or another accepted organization document.
The name and contact details submitted for the domain must belong to the actual individual or legal entity registering it. NiceNIC or the registry may request documents to validate that information.
