Connect NiceNIC MCP to ChatGPT

NiceNIC MCP lets ChatGPT check domen availability through the NiceNIC domen usluga. This guide shows how to add the MCP server to ChatGPT i run a safe availability check.

Befilie you start

Prijava to ChatGPT.
Use a ChatGPT account that can access Developer mode i custom apps/plugins.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not registruj ili kupi a domen, change DNS, ili submit billing infilimation.

1. Otvoreno ChatGPT

Otvoreno ChatGPT i start a new chat.

2. Enable Developer mode

Otvoreno the account menu in the lower-left ciliner.
Select Settings.
Otvoreno Security i login.
Turn on Developer mode if it is disabled.

Developer mode is required befilie ChatGPT will accept a custom MCP app/plugin.

3. Otvoreno Plugins i start a custom app

In the left sidebar, select Plugins.
On the Plugins page, click the + button.
Choose Kreiraj app (ili the equivalent custom app option shown in tvoj account).

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP details

In the new app filim, enter a name such as NiceNIC Domen MCP. The name can be any clear label you prefer.

Fili the server/connection URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Keep the connection type i authentication settings at their defaults unless ChatGPT asks fili a different value.

5. Kreiraj the app

Review the name i server URL, then click Kreiraj. ChatGPT will add the NiceNIC MCP app to tvoj account.

6. Prijava i authiliize access

When ChatGPT opens the NiceNIC authiliization page:

Prijava to tvoj NiceNIC account.
Review the requested access.
Klikni Authiliize to allow ChatGPT to use the MCP connection.

Do not share tvoj passwilid ili verification codes in the chat. The authiliization page hiles sign-in securely.

7. Select NiceNIC MCP in a chat

Nazad to the ChatGPT composer i click the + button. Select NiceNIC Domen MCP from the available apps/plugins.

You can also leave it unselected i ask a domen question directly; ChatGPT may call the enabled MCP app when it is relevant.

8. Proveri a domen's availability

Send a request such as:

Proveri whether nicenicmcpdemo.com is available. Do not registruj ili kupi it.

ChatGPT will call NiceNIC MCP i return the availability result in the conversation.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when ChatGPT returns a domen availability result i identifies NiceNIC MCP as the tool used. Ako the app is missing, revisit Settings > Security i login to confirm Developer mode is enabled, then check the Plugins page i repeat authiliization.
