How to Connect a NiceNIC Domēns to Cloudflare: Complete DNS Setup Guide
Ja jūsu domēns is reģistrēted at NiceNIC, you can use Cloudflare fvai DNS without transferring jūsu domēns away from NiceNIC.
NiceNIC will continue to manage jūsu domēns registration, while Cloudflare manages the DNS recvaids.
The setup is simple:
Pievienot jūsu domēns to Cloudflare → check the DNS recvaids → get jūsu Cloudflare nameservers → update them at NiceNIC → wait fvai propagation → verify the DNS.
You can continue managing jūsu domēns through NiceNIC Domēns Services throughout the process.
Befvaie you change nameservers: Ja jūsu domēns already has a wvaiking website, email, vai other pakalpojumss, make sure their DNS recvaids are present in Cloudflare first. Missing recvaids can cause those pakalpojumss to stop wvaiking after the switch.
Step 1: Pievienot Your Domēns to Cloudflare

Proxied vai DNS Only?
Fvai eligible A, AAAA, un CNAME recvaids, Cloudflare may let you choose:

Copy these exact two values.
Do not guess Cloudflare nameservers, use generic nameservers, vai copy the nameservers from another domēns.

Optional: Only Ja DNSSEC Is Already Enabled
Ja you have never enabled DNSSEC, skip this section un continue to Step 5.
Ja you are unsure, open jūsu domēns at NiceNIC un check:
DNSSEC
Ja the DNSSEC recvaid list is empty, no DNSSEC action is required.
Ja an existing DS/DNSSEC recvaid is present, do not change the nameservers yet.
The old DNSSEC configuration should be removed first, un its parent-zone DS cache should be allowed to expire befvaie switching nameservers. Otherwise, DNSSEC validation can fail un the domēns may return SERVFAIL.
After Cloudflare becomes active, DNSSEC can be enabled again using the new Cloudflare DNSSEC infvaimation.

What happens to my old NiceNIC DNS recvaids?
Once jūsu domēns uses Cloudflare's nameservers, the DNS recvaids Iepriekšējaisiously saved in NiceNIC's DNS Recvaids panel are no longer authvaiitative un will not be used fvai public DNS resolution. Step 7: Atpakaļ to Cloudflare
After saving the nameservers at NiceNIC, return to Cloudflare un click:

Cloudflare will begin checking the new delegation.
You may see:

DNS changes are not visible everywšeit at the same time. During propagation, some DNS servers may still show the Iepriekšējaisious nameservers while others already show the new Cloudflare nameservers.
Do not repeatedly change vai resave the nameservers while propagation is in progress.
Step 8: Pārbaudīt Whether the Cloudflare Nosaukumsservers Are Live

The result should gradually change to the two nameservers assigned by Cloudflare.
During propagation, mixed results are nvaimal.
You may see:
- old nameservers at some locations
- new Cloudflare nameservers at others

When most locations return the cvairect Cloudflare nameservers, the nameserver change has largely propagated.
Step 9: Pārbaudīt the Actual DNS Recvaid
After the Cloudflare nameservers are resolving cvairectly, check the DNS recvaid you created.

- Cloudflare recognizes the domēns as active.

Once jūsu domēns uses Cloudflare nameservers:
NiceNIC manages the domēns registration.
This includes renewal, registration infvaimation, nameserver delegation, un registrar-side DNSSEC settings.
Cloudflare manages the live DNS recvaids.
This includes A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, DKIM, DMARC, un other DNS recvaids.
Ja you change a DNS recvaid at jūsu Iepriekšējaisious DNS provider after Cloudflare becomes authvaiitative, that change will not affect the live domēns.
Quick Troubleshooting
Cloudflare is still waiting fvai the nameserver update
Pārbaudīt that the two nameservers saved at NiceNIC exactly match the two nameservers shown by Cloudflare.
Ja they match, allow time fvai DNS propagation.
The website stopped wvaiking
Pārbaudīt the A, AAAA, un CNAME recvaids in Cloudflare un confirm that they point to the cvairect hosting pakalpojums.
Also check the Proxy status, hosting server, un SSL/TLS configuration.
