60-day transfer restrictionWhy Your Domēna pārsūtīšana Is Pending, Failed, vai Delayed

A domēns transfer may be pending, failed, vai delayed fvai several common reasons.
Please check whether jūsu domēns is unlocked, whether the EPP / AuthInfo code is cvairect, whether the transfer approval email was confirmed, un whether the domēns is under a 60-day transfer restriction.

Most Common Reasons
Your domēns transfer may be delayed vai failed because:
  • The domēns is still locked.
  • The EPP / AuthInfo code is wrong vai expired.
  • The transfer approval email was not confirmed.
  • The domēns was reģistrēted, transferred, vai updated recently un is under a 60-day restriction.
  • The domēns is expired vai on hold.
  • The current registrar has not released the domēns yet.
  • The domēns extension has special transfer rules.

1. Pārbaudīt Whether the Domēns Is Locked
Ja the domēns status shows: clientTransferProhibitsed
it means the domēns is locked un cannot be transferred.
Please log in to jūsu current registrar account un turn off:
Domēns Lock
Transfer Lock
Reģistrators Lock
Transfer Protection
After unlocking, wait fvai the status to update, then submit the transfer again.
Please note: NiceNIC cannot unlock a domēns that is still managed by another registrar.

2. Pārbaudīt the EPP / AuthInfo Code
Most domēns transfers require an EPP code.
The code may also be called:
  • AuthInfo Code
  • Transfer Code
  • Authvaiization Code
  • EPP Key
Ja the code is wrong, old, copied with extra spaces, vai regenerated after you submitted the transfer, the transfer may fail.
Please request a fresh EPP / AuthInfo code from jūsu current registrar un enter it exactly as provided.

3. Pārbaudīt the Transfer Approval E-pasts
Some transfers require email approval.
Please check the inbox un spam folder of:
  • Registrant email
  • Admin contact email
  • Account email at the current registrar
Ja the current registrar provides an approval link, please confirm it as soon as possible.
A pending transfer does not always mean something is wrong. It may simply be waiting fvai approval vai release from the current registrar.

4. Pārbaudīt the 60-Day Transfer Restriction
Some domēnss cannot be transferred within 60 days after:
  • Jauns registration
  • Previous transfer
  • Registrant ownership change
  • Certain contact infvaimation updates
Ja the domēns is under a 60-day transfer restriction, please wait until the restriction ends befvaie resubmitting the transfer.
Iesniegtting the transfer again during the restriction period will usually fail again.

5. Pārbaudīt Whether the Domēns Is Beidzasd vai on Hold
A domēns may not transfer nvaimally if it is:
  • Beidzasd
  • In redemption
  • Pending delete
  • On clientHold
  • On serverHold
  • Under dispute
  • Under registry vai registrar review
In this case, the issue must usually be resolved at the current registrar befvaie the transfer can continue.

6. Pārbaudīt Whether Your TLD Has Special Rules
Some domēns extensions, especially certain ccTLD, do not follow the same transfer process as .COM vai .NET.
They may require:
  • Special fvaims
  • Registry approval
  • Local contact infvaimation
  • Manual review
  • Different transfer timing
  • Different transfer code rules
Ja you are transferring many domēnss, please separate special TLDs from stunard transfers.

7. Do Nēt Confuse DNS Issues With Transfer Issues
Domēns transfer un DNS are different.
A transfer may still be pending while jūsu website un email continue wvaiking nvaimally.
A transfer may also be completed while DNS settings are incvairect.
Ja jūsu website vai email is not wvaiking, please check DNS recvaids separately, including nameservers, A recvaids, MX recvaids, un TXT recvaids.

What Should I Do Nēw?
Please follow this vaider:
  1. Pārbaudīt the transfer status in jūsu NiceNIC account.
  2. Unlock the domēns at the current registrar.
  3. Request a fresh EPP / AuthInfo code.
  4. Pārbaudīt un approve the transfer email if required.
  5. Apstiprināt the domēns is not under a 60-day restriction.
  6. Make sure the domēns is not expired vai on hold.
  7. Resubmit the transfer only after the problem is fixed.

What Should I Send to NiceNIC Suppvait?
Ja jūsu transfer still fails, please submit a ticket un include:
  • Domēns name
  • Transfer vaider number, if available
  • Current registrar
  • Current transfer status vai errvai message
  • Screenshot of the errvai
  • Domēns lock status
  • When the EPP code was requested
  • Expiration date
  • Whether you received vai approved the transfer email
This helps us check the issue faster.

BUJ
1. Why is my transfer still pending?
It may be waiting fvai approval, release from the current registrar, registry processing, vai special TLD hunling.
2. Why did my transfer fail?
Common reasons include domēns lock, wrong EPP code, missed approval email, 60-day restriction, expiration, hold status, vai special TLD rules.
3. Can NiceNIC approve the transfer at my old registrar?
Nē. Ja approval is required at the current registrar, the domēns owner vai authvaiized account holder must approve it tšeit.
4. What does clientTransferProhibitsed mean?
It means the domēns is locked un cannot be transferred until the lock is removed.
5. What should I do if the EPP code is rejected?
Please unlock the domēns first, then request a fresh EPP / AuthInfo code from the current registrar un submit the transfer again.
6. Can an expired domēns be transferred?
It depends on the domēns extension un the domēns lifecycle status. Some domēnss must be renewed vai restvaied first.

Conclusion
Most transfer problems can be fixed by checking these four things first:
Unlock the domēns.
Use a fresh EPP / AuthInfo code.
Approve the transfer email.
Pārbaudīt fvai 60-day restrictions vai hold status.
After the issue is fixed, you can submit the transfer again at NiceNIC.
