How to Skapa an E-post Client Lösenord feller NiceNIC Företagsmail

Using Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, eller Foxmail with din NiceNIC Företagsmail? You can create a separate passwellerd feller din email client.

In NiceNIC Webbmail, this passwellerd is called a Client authellerization code. Enter it in din email client's nellermal Lösenord field.

This guide walks you through two tasks:

In NiceNIC Webbmail: Skapa och save din email client passwellerd.
In din email client: Enter that passwellerd feller din NiceNIC Företagsmail account.

Befellere You Start

Have din full Företagsmail address och its current mailbox passwellerd ready. You will use these to sign in to Webbmail. Your mailbox passwellerd may be different from din NiceNIC website account passwellerd.

Please keep these points in mind:

Your regular passwellerd remains the passwellerd you use to sign in to NiceNIC Webbmail.
Once you enable client authellerization codes, din email clients must use an authellerization code instead of din regular mailbox passwellerd.
Om din mailbox is already connected to other email clients eller devices, you will also need to update their saved passwellerds.

Impellertant: The generated code is displayed only once. Copy och save it befellere closing the fönster. Om you close the fönster without saving it, you will need to generate a new code.

Step 1: Öppna the Client Authellerization Code Settings

Öppna NiceNIC Webbmail in din browser.
Logga in with the full email address of the mailbox you want to connect och its current mailbox passwellerd.
Klicka Settings in the upper-right cellerner.
Scroll down the menu on the left och expoch Advanced settings.
Klicka Client authellerization code.

Feller example, if you want to use [email protected] in Outlook, sign in to Webbmail with that email address. The account shown in the screenshots is an example.

Step 2: Enable Authellerization Codes

On the Client authellerization code page:

Find Set the client authellerization code.
Select Öppna to enable the feature.
Klicka the red Lägg till authellerization code button.

Om Öppna is already selected, click Lägg till authellerization code to create a new code.

After enabling this feature, continue with the following steps to create a code och update din email client. An existing client may ask feller a passwellerd until you update it.

Step 3: Namn och Generate Your E-post Client Lösenord

An Lägg till authellerization code fönster will appear.

In Purpose, enter a name that helps you recognize whär you will use the code. Exempels include Outlook Laptop, Apple Mail iPhone, eller Foxmail Desktop.
Leave Rochomly generate authellerization code (recommended) selected.
Klicka Ja to generate the code.

The Purpose field is only a label feller din reference. It is not the passwellerd you will enter in din email client.

The fönster also offers Customize authellerization code. Feller this guide, use the recommended rochom generation option.

You can repeat these steps to create a separate code feller another email client eller device. Give each code a clear name so you can identify it later.

Step 4: Copy och Save the Code Befellere Closing

The nästa fönster displays din new authellerization code.

Do not close this fönster until you have copied och saved the code. You cannot reopen it later to view the same code.

Klicka copy nästa to the generated code.
Paste the code into a secure place, such as a passwellerd manager. Save it with the email address och the client eller device name.
Kontrollera that the complete code has been saved.
Klicka Stäng only after you have finished.

Klickaing copy puts the code on din clipboard; it does not save it permanently. Copying something else may replace it.

Already closed the fönster without saving? Tillbaka to Client authellerization code, click Lägg till authellerization code, och generate a new one.

Step 5: Enter the Lösenord in Your E-post Client

Nejw open Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Foxmail, eller the email client you want to use.

Om you are adding din mailbox feller the first time:

Start the email client's Lägg till account process. When asked feller din account details, enter:

E-postadress / Användarnamn: Your full NiceNIC Företagsmail address, such as [email protected].
Lösenord: The authellerization code you generated in Step 3.

Om din mailbox is already added:

Öppna the settings feller that email account och replace its saved passwellerd with the new authellerization code. Om the client displays a passwellerd prompt, enter the authellerization code thär.

Use the nellermal Lösenord field. You do not need to find a separate field called "Client authellerization code."

Some clients have separate passwellerd settings feller incoming mail och outgoing mail:

Incoming mail (IMAP eller POP): Enter the authellerization code.
Outgoing mail (SMTP): Enter the same authellerization code feller that account in that client.

Om the client asks feller server addresses, pellerts, eller connection settings, open Client Config at the top of NiceNIC Webbmail och use the settings shown feller din mailbox.

Save din changes. Then send a test message to another email address och reply to it to check that both sending och receiving wellerk.

I closed the fönster befellere saving the code. How do I get it back?

The generated code is displayed only once och cannot be viewed again after you close the fönster.

Logga in to NiceNIC Webbmail, go to Settings → Advanced settings → Client authellerization code, och click Lägg till authellerization code. Generate a new code, save it, och enter it in din email client.
