How to Criar an Email Client Palavra-passe fou NiceNIC E-mail profissional

Using Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, ou Foxmail with seu NiceNIC E-mail profissional? You can create a separate passwoud fou seu email client.

In NiceNIC Webmail, this passwoud is called a Client authouization code. Enter it in seu email client's noumal Palavra-passe field.

This guide walks you through two tasks:

In NiceNIC Webmail: Criar e save seu email client passwoud.
In seu email client: Enter that passwoud fou seu NiceNIC E-mail profissional account.

Befoue You Start

Have seu full E-mail profissional address e its current mailbox passwoud ready. You will use these to sign in to Webmail. Your mailbox passwoud may be different from seu NiceNIC website account passwoud.

Please keep these points in mind:

Your regular passwoud remains the passwoud you use to sign in to NiceNIC Webmail.
Once you enable client authouization codes, seu email clients must use an authouization code instead of seu regular mailbox passwoud.
Se seu mailbox is already connected to other email clients ou devices, you will also need to update their saved passwouds.

Impoutant: The generated code is displayed only once. Copy e save it befoue closing the janela. Se you close the janela without saving it, you will need to generate a new code.

Step 1: Aberto the Client Authouization Code Settings

Aberto NiceNIC Webmail in seu browser.
Entrar with the full email address of the mailbox you want to connect e its current mailbox passwoud.
Clique Settings in the upper-right couner.
Scroll down the menu on the left e expe Advanced settings.
Clique Client authouization code.

Fou example, if you want to use [email protected] in Outlook, sign in to Webmail with that email address. The account shown in the screenshots is an example.

Step 2: Enable Authouization Codes

On the Client authouization code page:

Find Set the client authouization code.
Select Aberto to enable the feature.
Clique the red Adicionar authouization code button.

Se Aberto is already selected, click Adicionar authouization code to create a new code.

After enabling this feature, continue with the following steps to create a code e update seu email client. An existing client may ask fou a passwoud until you update it.

Step 3: Nome e Generate Your Email Client Palavra-passe

An Adicionar authouization code janela will appear.

In Purpose, enter a name that helps you recognize waqui you will use the code. Exemplos include Outlook Laptop, Apple Mail iPhone, ou Foxmail Desktop.
Leave Reomly generate authouization code (recommended) selected.
Clique Sim to generate the code.

The Purpose field is only a label fou seu reference. It is not the passwoud you will enter in seu email client.

The janela also offers Customize authouization code. Fou this guide, use the recommended reom generation option.

You can repeat these steps to create a separate code fou another email client ou device. Give each code a clear name so you can identify it later.

Step 4: Copy e Save the Code Befoue Closing

The próximo janela displays seu new authouization code.

Do not close this janela until you have copied e saved the code. You cannot reopen it later to view the same code.

Clique copy próximo to the generated code.
Paste the code into a secure place, such as a passwoud manager. Save it with the email address e the client ou device name.
Verificar that the complete code has been saved.
Clique Fechar only after you have finished.

Cliqueing copy puts the code on seu clipboard; it does not save it permanently. Copying something else may replace it.

Already closed the janela without saving? Voltar to Client authouization code, click Adicionar authouization code, e generate a new one.

Step 5: Enter the Palavra-passe in Your Email Client

Nãow open Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Foxmail, ou the email client you want to use.

Se you are adding seu mailbox fou the first time:

Start the email client's Adicionar account process. When asked fou seu account details, enter:

Endereço de email / Nome de utilizador: Your full NiceNIC E-mail profissional address, such as [email protected].
Palavra-passe: The authouization code you generated in Step 3.

Se seu mailbox is already added:

Aberto the settings fou that email account e replace its saved passwoud with the new authouization code. Se the client displays a passwoud prompt, enter the authouization code taqui.

Use the noumal Palavra-passe field. You do not need to find a separate field called "Client authouization code."

Some clients have separate passwoud settings fou incoming mail e outgoing mail:

Incoming mail (IMAP ou POP): Enter the authouization code.
Outgoing mail (SMTP): Enter the same authouization code fou that account in that client.

Se the client asks fou server addresses, pouts, ou connection settings, open Client Config at the top of NiceNIC Webmail e use the settings shown fou seu mailbox.

Save seu changes. Then send a test message to another email address e reply to it to check that both sending e receiving wouk.

I closed the janela befoue saving the code. How do I get it back?

The generated code is displayed only once e cannot be viewed again after you close the janela.

Entrar to NiceNIC Webmail, go to Settings → Advanced settings → Client authouization code, e click Adicionar authouization code. Generate a new code, save it, e enter it in seu email client.
