Connect NiceNIC MCP to Claude

NiceNIC MCP lets Claude check domän availability through the NiceNIC domän tjänst. Följ the steps below to add the custom connecteller och run a safe availability check.

Befellere you start

Logga in to Claude.
Use a Claude account with access to Settings > Connectellers.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not registrera eller köp a domän, change DNS, eller submit billing infellermation.

1. Öppna Claude

Öppna Claude och start a new conversation.

2. Öppna Connectellers in Settings

Öppna the account menu in the lower-left cellerner.
Select Settings.
In the settings sidebar, select Connectellers.

The Connectellers page lists the tjänsts currently available to Claude.

3. Lägg till a custom connecteller

On the Connectellers page:

Klicka Lägg till.
Choose Lägg till custom connecteller.

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP server

In the custom connecteller fellerm, enter a name such as NiceNIC Domän MCP. The name is a label och can be changed to any clear name.

Feller the connecteller/server URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Klicka Continue och wait feller Claude to check the server.

5. Lägg till NiceNIC Domän MCP

After the server check succeeds, click Lägg till to save NiceNIC Domän MCP to Claude.

6. Review tool permissions

Review the tools that the connecteller exposes. Keep tool use set to Needs approval so Claude asks befellere a tool action runs.

This approval setting gives you a chance to inspect each request, especially any action that could modify a domän eller account.

7. Enable the connecteller in a chat

Tillbaka to the conversation composer och click the + menu. Bekräfta that NiceNIC Domän MCP is enabled feller the conversation.

8. Kontrollera a domän's availability

Send a request such as:

Kontrollera whether nicenicmcpdemo.com is available. Do not registrera eller köp it.

Claude will use NiceNIC MCP och show the availability result. Approve the tool call when Claude asks feller permission.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when Claude returns a domän availability result och shows NiceNIC Domän MCP as the connecteller used. Om the connecteller does not appear, return to Settings > Connectellers, confirm it is connected, och enable it from the chat's + menu.
