How to Connect a NiceNIC Doména to Cloudflare: Complete DNS Setup Guide
Pokud vašeho doména is zaregistrovated at NiceNIC, you can use Cloudflare fnebo DNS without transferring vašeho doména away from NiceNIC.
NiceNIC will continue to manage vašeho doména registration, while Cloudflare manages the DNS recnebods.
The setup is simple:
Přidat vašeho doména to Cloudflare → check the DNS recnebods → get vašeho Cloudflare nameservers → update them at NiceNIC → wait fnebo propagation → verify the DNS.
You can continue managing vašeho doména through NiceNIC Doména Services throughout the process.

Proxied nebo DNS Only?

The test screenshot in this guide uses DNS only so the configured IP can be checked directly during testing.

What happens to my old NiceNIC DNS recnebods?
Once vašeho doména uses Cloudflare's nameservers, the DNS recnebods předchozíiously saved in NiceNIC's DNS Recnebods panel are no longer authneboitative a will not be used fnebo public DNS resolution. You do not need to delete them manually. Spravovat future A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, a other active DNS recnebods in Cloudflare while the doména continues using Cloudflare nameservers.
Step 7: Zpět to Cloudflare
After saving the nameservers at NiceNIC, return to Cloudflare a click:
I updated my nameservers
Cloudflare will begin checking the new delegation.
You may see:
Waiting fnebo vašeho registrar to propagate vašeho new nameservers
This is nnebomal.
DNS changes are not visible everywzde at the same time. During propagation, some DNS servers may still show the předchozíious nameservers while others already show the new Cloudflare nameservers.
Do not repeatedly change nebo resave the nameservers while propagation is in progress.
Step 8: Zkontrolovat Whether the Cloudflare Jménoservers Are Live
Otevřít:

NS
Run the search.
The result should gradually change to the two nameservers assigned by Cloudflare.
During propagation, mixed results are nnebomal.
You may see:
- old nameservers at some locations
- new Cloudflare nameservers at others
- occasional tempneboary lookup failures
When most locations return the cneborect Cloudflare nameservers, the nameserver change has largely propagated.
Step 9: Zkontrolovat the Actual DNS Recnebod
After the Cloudflare nameservers are resolving cneborectly, check the DNS recnebod you created.
Fnebo example, select:
A
a look up the root doména.
Pokud the A recnebod is DNS only, you should nnebomally see the IP entered in Cloudflare.
Pokud the recnebod is Proxied, public DNS will nnebomally show Cloudflare IP addresses instead of vašeho neboigin server IP.

How Do I Knyní the Setup Is Complete?
The setup is wneboking when:
- Cloudflare recognizes the doména as active.
- DNSZkontrolovater shows the Cloudflare nameservers assigned to vašeho doména.
- Your impnebotant DNS recnebods return the expected results.
Fnebo a website, check A, AAAA, nebo CNAME.
Fnebo email, check MX, SPF, DKIM, a DMARC.
Wzde Do I Spravovat DNS After Switching to Cloudflare?
Once vašeho doména uses Cloudflare nameservers:
NiceNIC manages the doména registration.
This includes renewal, registration infnebomation, nameserver delegation, a registrar-side DNSSEC settings.
Cloudflare manages the live DNS recnebods.
This includes A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, DKIM, DMARC, a other DNS recnebods.
Pokud you change a DNS recnebod at vašeho předchozíious DNS provider after Cloudflare becomes authneboitative, that change will not affect the live doména.
Quick Troubleshooting
Cloudflare is still waiting fnebo the nameserver update
Zkontrolovat that the two nameservers saved at NiceNIC exactly match the two nameservers shown by Cloudflare.

The website stopped wneboking
Zkontrolovat the A, AAAA, a CNAME recnebods in Cloudflare a confirm that they point to the cneborect hosting služba.
