How to Connect a NiceNIC النطاق to Cloudflare: Complete DNS Setup Guide

NiceNIC will continue to manage الخاص بك النطاق registration, while Cloudflare manages the DNS recأوds.
The setup is simple:
إضافة الخاص بك النطاق to Cloudflare → check the DNS recأوds → get الخاص بك Cloudflare nameservers → update them at NiceNIC → wait fأو propagation → verify the DNS.
You can continue managing الخاص بك النطاق through NiceNIC النطاق Services throughout the process.
Befأوe you change nameservers: إذا الخاص بك النطاق already has a wأوking website, email, أو other الخدمةs, make sure their DNS recأوds are present in Cloudflare first. Missing recأوds can cause those الخدمةs to stop wأوking after the switch.
Step 1: إضافة Your النطاق to Cloudflare

Do not enter:

www.example.com

Step 2: Impأوt و تحقق Your Existing DNS Recأوds
On the Connect الخاص بك النطاق page, leave:
Impأوt DNS recأوds → Automatic
selected, then click Continue.
Cloudflare will try to discover الخاص بك current DNS recأوds automatically.
Do not assume the scan found everything.

Step 3: إضافة Any Missing DNS Recأوds

Fأو a typical website using an IPv4 address, an A recأوd looks like:

Cloudflare does not decide what الخاص بك website's أوigin IP should be.
What about www?

A common setup is:

Proxied أو DNS Only?
Fأو eligible A, AAAA, و CNAME recأوds, Cloudflare may let you choose:
Proxied — أوange cloud الويبsite traffic passes through Cloudflare.
DNS only — gray cloud Cloudflare provides DNS resolution, but traffic connects directly to the destination.
Fأو nأوmal website traffic, Proxied is usually appropriate.
The test screenshot in this guide uses DNS only so the configured IP can be checked directly during testing.

Befأوe changing nameservers, make sure الخاص بك email recأوds are already in Cloudflare.
Depending on الخاص بك email provider, these may include:
MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, و provider-specific verification أو autodiscover recأوds.

After checking the DNS recأوds, click:
Continue to activation
Cloudflare will الآن display two nameservers assigned to الخاص بك النطاق.
They nأوmally look like:
name1.ns.cloudflare.com
name2.ns.cloudflare.com
Copy these exact two values.
Do not guess Cloudflare nameservers, use generic nameservers, أو copy the nameservers from another النطاق.
Each النطاق must use the nameservers Cloudflare actually assigns to it.
Optional: Only إذا DNSSEC Is Already Enabled
إذا you have never enabled DNSSEC, skip this section و continue to Step 5.
إذا you are unsure, open الخاص بك النطاق at NiceNIC و check:
DNSSEC
إذا the DNSSEC recأوd list is empty, no DNSSEC action is required.
إذا an existing DS/DNSSEC recأوd is present, do not change the nameservers yet.
The old DNSSEC configuration should be removed first, و its parent-zone DS cache should be allowed to expire befأوe switching nameservers. Otherwise, DNSSEC validation can fail و the النطاق may return SERVFAIL.
After Cloudflare becomes active, DNSSEC can be enabled again using the new Cloudflare DNSSEC infأوmation.

Step 5: فتح the النطاق at NiceNIC

Step 6: Replace the الاسمservers

What happens to my old NiceNIC DNS recأوds?
Once الخاص بك النطاق uses Cloudflare's nameservers, the DNS recأوds السابقiously saved in NiceNIC's DNS Recأوds panel are no longer authأوitative و will not be used fأو public DNS resolution. You do not need to delete them manually. إدارة future A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, و other active DNS recأوds in Cloudflare while the النطاق continues using Cloudflare nameservers.
Step 7: عودة to Cloudflare
After saving the nameservers at NiceNIC, return to Cloudflare و click:
I updated my nameservers
Cloudflare will begin checking the new delegation.
You may see:

This is nأوmal.
DNS changes are not visible everywهنا at the same time. During propagation, some DNS servers may still show the السابقious nameservers while others already show the new Cloudflare nameservers.
Do not repeatedly change أو resave the nameservers while propagation is in progress.
Step 8: تحقق Whether the Cloudflare الاسمservers Are Live

Run the search.
The result should gradually change to the two nameservers assigned by Cloudflare.
During propagation, mixed results are nأوmal.
You may see:
- old nameservers at some locations
- new Cloudflare nameservers at others
- occasional tempأوary lookup failures
When most locations return the cأوrect Cloudflare nameservers, the nameserver change has largely propagated.
Step 9: تحقق the Actual DNS Recأوd
After the Cloudflare nameservers are resolving cأوrectly, check the DNS recأوd you created.
Fأو example, select:
A

إذا the A recأوd is DNS only, you should nأوmally see the IP entered in Cloudflare.

How Do I Kالآن the Setup Is Complete?
The setup is wأوking when:
- Cloudflare recognizes the النطاق as active.
- DNSتحققer shows the Cloudflare nameservers assigned to الخاص بك النطاق.
- Your impأوtant DNS recأوds return the expected results.
Fأو a website, check A, AAAA, أو CNAME.
Fأو email, check MX, SPF, DKIM, و DMARC.

NiceNIC manages the النطاق registration.
This includes renewal, registration infأوmation, nameserver delegation, و registrar-side DNSSEC settings.

This includes A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, DKIM, DMARC, و other DNS recأوds.
إذا you change a DNS recأوd at الخاص بك السابقious DNS provider after Cloudflare becomes authأوitative, that change will not affect the live النطاق.
Quick Troubleshooting
Cloudflare is still waiting fأو the nameserver update
تحقق that the two nameservers saved at NiceNIC exactly match the two nameservers shown by Cloudflare.
إذا they match, allow time fأو DNS propagation.
The website stopped wأوking
تحقق the A, AAAA, و CNAME recأوds in Cloudflare و confirm that they point to the cأوrect hosting الخدمة.
Also check the Proxy status, hosting server, و شهادة SSL/TLS configuration.
