Connect NiceNIC MCP to Claude

NiceNIC MCP lets Claude check dominio availability through the NiceNIC dominio servizio. Segui the steps below to add the custom connecto e run a safe availability check.

Befoe you start

Accedi to Claude.
Use a Claude account with access to Settings > Connectos.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not registrare o acquistare a dominio, change DNS, o submit billing infomation.

1. Apri Claude

Apri Claude e start a new conversation.

2. Apri Connectos in Settings

Apri the account menu in the lower-left coner.
Select Settings.
In the settings sidebar, select Connectos.

The Connectos page lists the servizios currently available to Claude.

3. Aggiungi a custom connecto

On the Connectos page:

Clicca Aggiungi.
Choose Aggiungi custom connecto.

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP server

In the custom connecto fom, enter a name such as NiceNIC Dominio MCP. The name is a label e can be changed to any clear name.

Fo the connecto/server URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Clicca Continue e wait fo Claude to check the server.

5. Aggiungi NiceNIC Dominio MCP

After the server check succeeds, click Aggiungi to save NiceNIC Dominio MCP to Claude.

6. Review tool permissions

Review the tools that the connecto exposes. Keep tool use set to Needs approval so Claude asks befoe a tool action runs.

This approval setting gives you a chance to inspect each request, especially any action that could modify a dominio o account.

7. Enable the connecto in a chat

Indietro to the conversation composer e click the + menu. Conferma that NiceNIC Dominio MCP is enabled fo the conversation.

8. Verifica a dominio's availability

Send a request such as:

Verifica whether nicenicmcpdemo.com is available. Do not registrare o acquistare it.

Claude will use NiceNIC MCP e show the availability result. Approve the tool call when Claude asks fo permission.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when Claude returns a dominio availability result e shows NiceNIC Dominio MCP as the connecto used. Se the connecto does not appear, return to Settings > Connectos, confirm it is connected, e enable it from the chat's + menu.
