Connect NiceNIC MCP to Claude

NiceNIC MCP lets Claude check domæne availability through the NiceNIC domæne service. Følg the steps below to add the custom connecteller og run a safe availability check.

Befellere you start

Log ind to Claude.
Use a Claude account with access to Settings > Connectellers.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not registrer eller køb a domæne, change DNS, eller submit billing infellermation.

1. Åben Claude

Åben Claude og start a new conversation.

2. Åben Connectellers in Settings

Åben the account menu in the lower-left cellerner.
Select Settings.
In the settings sidebar, select Connectellers.

The Connectellers page lists the services currently available to Claude.

3. Tilføj a custom connecteller

On the Connectellers page:

Klik Tilføj.
Choose Tilføj custom connecteller.

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP server

In the custom connecteller fellerm, enter a name such as NiceNIC Domæne MCP. The name is a label og can be changed to any clear name.

Feller the connecteller/server URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Klik Continue og wait feller Claude to check the server.

5. Tilføj NiceNIC Domæne MCP

After the server check succeeds, click Tilføj to save NiceNIC Domæne MCP to Claude.

6. Review tool permissions

Review the tools that the connecteller exposes. Keep tool use set to Needs approval so Claude asks befellere a tool action runs.

This approval setting gives you a chance to inspect each request, especially any action that could modify a domæne eller account.

7. Enable the connecteller in a chat

Tilbage to the conversation composer og click the + menu. Bekræft that NiceNIC Domæne MCP is enabled feller the conversation.

8. Kontrollér a domæne's availability

Send a request such as:

Kontrollér whether nicenicmcpdemo.com is available. Do not registrer eller køb it.

Claude will use NiceNIC MCP og show the availability result. Approve the tool call when Claude asks feller permission.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when Claude returns a domæne availability result og shows NiceNIC Domæne MCP as the connecteller used. Hvis the connecteller does not appear, return to Settings > Connectellers, confirm it is connected, og enable it from the chat's + menu.
