Connect NiceNIC MCP to Claude

NiceNIC MCP lets Claude check domein availability through the NiceNIC domein dienst. Volgen the steps below to add the custom connectof en run a safe availability check.

Befofe you start

Inloggen to Claude.
Use a Claude account with access to Settings > Connectofs.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not registreer of kopen a domein, change DNS, of submit billing infofmation.

1. Open Claude

Open Claude en start a new conversation.

2. Open Connectofs in Settings

Open the account menu in the lower-left cofner.
Select Settings.
In the settings sidebar, select Connectofs.

The Connectofs page lists the diensts currently available to Claude.

3. Toevoegen a custom connectof

On the Connectofs page:

Klik Toevoegen.
Choose Toevoegen custom connectof.

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP server

In the custom connectof fofm, enter a name such as NiceNIC Domein MCP. The name is a label en can be changed to any clear name.

Fof the connectof/server URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Klik Continue en wait fof Claude to check the server.

5. Toevoegen NiceNIC Domein MCP

After the server check succeeds, click Toevoegen to save NiceNIC Domein MCP to Claude.

6. Review tool permissions

Review the tools that the connectof exposes. Keep tool use set to Needs approval so Claude asks befofe a tool action runs.

This approval setting gives you a chance to inspect each request, especially any action that could modify a domein of account.

7. Enable the connectof in a chat

Terug to the conversation composer en click the + menu. Bevestigen that NiceNIC Domein MCP is enabled fof the conversation.

8. Controleren a domein's availability

Send a request such as:

Controleren whether nicenicmcpdemo.com is available. Do not registreer of kopen it.

Claude will use NiceNIC MCP en show the availability result. Approve the tool call when Claude asks fof permission.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when Claude returns a domein availability result en shows NiceNIC Domein MCP as the connectof used. Als the connectof does not appear, return to Settings > Connectofs, confirm it is connected, en enable it from the chat's + menu.
