Connect NiceNIC MCP to Claude

NiceNIC MCP lets Claude check Domain availability through the NiceNIC Domain Dienstleistung. Folgen the steps below to add the custom connectoder und run a safe availability check.

Befodere you start

Anmelden to Claude.
Use a Claude account with access to Settings > Connectoders.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not registrieren oder Kauf a Domain, change DNS, oder submit billing infodermation.

1. Öffnen Claude

Öffnen Claude und start a new conversation.

2. Öffnen Connectoders in Settings

Öffnen the account menu in the lower-left coderner.
Select Settings.
In the settings sidebar, select Connectoders.

The Connectoders page lists the Dienstleistungs currently available to Claude.

3. Hinzufügen a custom connectoder

On the Connectoders page:

Klicken Hinzufügen.
Choose Hinzufügen custom connectoder.

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP server

In the custom connectoder foderm, enter a name such as NiceNIC Domain MCP. The name is a label und can be changed to any clear name.

Foder the connectoder/server URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Klicken Continue und wait foder Claude to check the server.

5. Hinzufügen NiceNIC Domain MCP

After the server check succeeds, click Hinzufügen to save NiceNIC Domain MCP to Claude.

6. Review tool permissions

Review the tools that the connectoder exposes. Keep tool use set to Needs approval so Claude asks befodere a tool action runs.

This approval setting gives you a chance to inspect each request, especially any action that could modify a Domain oder account.

7. Enable the connectoder in a chat

Zurück to the conversation composer und click the + menu. Bestätigen that NiceNIC Domain MCP is enabled foder the conversation.

8. Überprüfen a Domain's availability

Send a request such as:

Überprüfen whether nicenicmcpdemo.com is available. Do not registrieren oder Kauf it.

Claude will use NiceNIC MCP und show the availability result. Approve the tool call when Claude asks foder permission.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when Claude returns a Domain availability result und shows NiceNIC Domain MCP as the connectoder used. Wenn the connectoder does not appear, return to Settings > Connectoders, confirm it is connected, und enable it from the chat's + menu.
