Connect NiceNIC MCP to Claude

NiceNIC MCP lets Claude check domenet availability through the NiceNIC domenet tjeneste. Følg the steps below to add the custom connecteller og run a safe availability check.

Befellere you start

Logg inn to Claude.
Use a Claude account with access to Settings > Connectellers.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not registrer eller kjøp a domenet, change DNS, eller submit billing infellermation.

1. Åpen Claude

Åpen Claude og start a new conversation.

2. Åpen Connectellers in Settings

Åpen the account menu in the lower-left cellerner.
Select Settings.
In the settings sidebar, select Connectellers.

The Connectellers page lists the tjenestes currently available to Claude.

3. Legg til a custom connecteller

On the Connectellers page:

Klikk Legg til.
Choose Legg til custom connecteller.

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP server

In the custom connecteller fellerm, enter a name such as NiceNIC Domene MCP. The name is a label og can be changed to any clear name.

Feller the connecteller/server URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Klikk Continue og wait feller Claude to check the server.

5. Legg til NiceNIC Domene MCP

After the server check succeeds, click Legg til to save NiceNIC Domene MCP to Claude.

6. Review tool permissions

Review the tools that the connecteller exposes. Keep tool use set to Needs approval so Claude asks befellere a tool action runs.

This approval setting gives you a chance to inspect each request, especially any action that could modify a domenet eller account.

7. Enable the connecteller in a chat

Tilbake to the conversation composer og click the + menu. Bekreft that NiceNIC Domene MCP is enabled feller the conversation.

8. Sjekk a domenet's availability

Send a request such as:

Sjekk whether nicenicmcpdemo.com is available. Do not registrer eller kjøp it.

Claude will use NiceNIC MCP og show the availability result. Approve the tool call when Claude asks feller permission.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when Claude returns a domenet availability result og shows NiceNIC Domene MCP as the connecteller used. Hvis the connecteller does not appear, return to Settings > Connectellers, confirm it is connected, og enable it from the chat's + menu.
