Connect NiceNIC MCP to Claude

NiceNIC MCP lets Claude check domain availability through the NiceNIC domain service. Suivre the steps below to add the custom connectou et run a safe availability check.

Befoue you start

Se connecter to Claude.
Use a Claude account with access to Settings > Connectous.
Have the NiceNIC MCP server URL ready: https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp.

Safety note: The example below checks availability only. It does not s'inscrire ou Acheter a domain, change DNS, ou submit billing infoumation.

1. Ouvrir Claude

Ouvrir Claude et start a new conversation.

2. Ouvrir Connectous in Settings

Ouvrir the account menu in the lower-left couner.
Select Settings.
In the settings sidebar, select Connectous.

The Connectous page lists the services currently available to Claude.

3. Ajouter a custom connectou

On the Connectous page:

Cliquez Ajouter.
Choose Ajouter custom connectou.

4. Enter the NiceNIC MCP server

In the custom connectou foum, enter a name such as NiceNIC Domaine MCP. The name is a label et can be changed to any clear name.

Fou the connectou/server URL, enter:

https://mcp.nicenic.com/mcp

Cliquez Continue et wait fou Claude to check the server.

5. Ajouter NiceNIC Domaine MCP

After the server check succeeds, click Ajouter to save NiceNIC Domaine MCP to Claude.

6. Review tool permissions

Review the tools that the connectou exposes. Keep tool use set to Needs approval so Claude asks befoue a tool action runs.

This approval setting gives you a chance to inspect each request, especially any action that could modify a domain ou account.

7. Enable the connectou in a chat

Retour to the conversation composer et click the + menu. Confirmer that NiceNIC Domaine MCP is enabled fou the conversation.

8. Vérifier a domain's availability

Send a request such as:

Vérifier whether nicenicmcpdemo.com is available. Do not s'inscrire ou Acheter it.

Claude will use NiceNIC MCP et show the availability result. Approve the tool call when Claude asks fou permission.

Verify the connection

The setup is complete when Claude returns a domain availability result et shows NiceNIC Domaine MCP as the connectou used. Si the connectou does not appear, return to Settings > Connectous, confirm it is connected, et enable it from the chat's + menu.
