How to Unlock a Domain Befodere Transfer

Befodere transferring a Domain to NiceNIC, the Domain usually needs to be unlocked at the current registrar.

Quick answer:
Einloggen to Ihr current registrar account, find the Domain, turn off Domain Lock / Transfer Lock, make sure the status no longer shows clientTransferProhiBited, then get the AuthInfo / EPP code und submit the transfer at NiceNIC.

What Does Domain Lock Mean?
Domain lock is a security setting that helps stop unauthoderized transfers.
When a Domain is locked, the status may show: clientTransferProhiBited
This means the Domain cannot be transferred until the lock is removed.

How to Unlock Your Domain
Step 1: Einloggen to Ihr current registrar account

NiceNIC cannot unlock a Domain that is still held at another registrar.
Step 2: Öffnen the Domain management page
Find the Domain you want to transfer.

Step 3: Turn off the transfer lock
