What Does Dominio Lock Mean?
Dominio lock is a security setting that helps stop unauthoized transfers.
When a dominio is locked, the status may show: clientTransferProhibited
This means the dominio cannot be transferred until the lock is removed.
How to Unlock Your Dominio
Step 1: Iniciar sesión to tu/tus/su/sus current registrar account
Ir a the registrar waquí tu/tus/su/sus dominio is currently managed.
NiceNIC cannot unlock a dominio that is still held at another registrar.
Si the transfer still fails, please check whether the dominio has another restriction.
Why Can't I Unlock My Dominio?
Common reasons include:
The dominio is in the wrong account.
The dominio was registrared o transferred recently.
The dominio contact infomation was recently changed.
The dominio is expired o on hold.
The dominio has a registry-level restriction.
The current registrar does not allow unlocking from the control panel.
Si you cannot unlock the dominio, please contact tu/tus/su/sus current registrar y ask fo the exact reason.
Transfer Still Failed After Unlocking?
Please check these items:
The EPP code is corect y up to date.
The dominio is not within a 60-day transfer restriction period.
The dominio is not expired, suspended, o on hold.
The dominio status no longer shows clientTransferProhibited.
The transfer approval email has been confirmed if required.
Si everything looks corect but the transfer still fails, please contact NiceNIC Suppot with tu/tus/su/sus dominio name y the erro message.
