.UA Domain Registration: Trade Mark Requirements
A .UA domain can be applied for as an individual or a company or organization, but NiceNIC's registration process requires trade mark information in either case.
What kind of trade mark is accepted?
You must use one of these categories:
- Ukrainian Trade Mark
- International Trade Mark protected in Ukraine
For either category, prepare the Trade Mark Number and Trade Mark Name.
If you are using an international trade mark registered through the WIPO/Madrid system, it must be validly protected in Ukraine. An international registration that does not cover Ukraine is not sufficient for this route.
Before ordering
Verify the trade mark category and have the relevant number and name ready. Then check the availability of your .UA domain and provide the trade mark details for the person or organization registering it.
