.RU, .SU and .РФ Registration: Identity Verification or Trustee Service
When registering a .RU, .SU or .РФ domain through NiceNIC, you can proceed with your own verified registrant details or request NiceNIC Trustee Service.
Option 1: Register using your own identity details
If you can meet the required identity-verification conditions, prepare:
- Registrant's date of birth
- ID or document number
- Issuing authority
- Document issue date
- Normal registrant contact information
These details are required for the self-verification registration route.
Option 2: Use NiceNIC Trustee Service
If you cannot provide the identity information required for the first option, you can choose the trustee route instead.
The same birth-date, ID-number, issuing-authority and issue-date details are not required from you for that trustee-service route. The order is handled under the separate NiceNIC Trustee Service process.
Which route should you choose?
Use your own details when you can complete the required identity verification. Otherwise, review the trustee option before ordering.
