How to Stay Signed In to Your NiceNIC Account fo 90 Days

Si you manage dominios frequently through the NiceNIC Panel de Control, repeatedly entering tu/tus/su/sus username, passwod, y two-facto authentication can interrupt tu/tus/su/sus wokflow.

NiceNIC ahora offers Stay Signed In fo accounts that already have Autenticación de Dos Factores (2FA) enabled.

Once activated, tu/tus/su/sus browser can keep you signed in fo up to 90 days, with the validity automatically extended fo another 90 days whenever the persistent login is successfully used.

Quick Answer

What does it do?
It reduces repeated sign-ins when you regularly return to the NiceNIC Panel de Control from a trusted browser.

How do I enable it?
Ir a Resumen de la Cuenta --> Stay Signed In, enter tu/tus/su/sus account login passwod, y click Enable Stay Signed In.

What should I kahora befoe enabling it?
Use it only on devices y browsers you trust. The feature depends on a browser cookie. Changing tu/tus/su/sus passwod, disabling 2FA, o turning off Stay Signed In will invalidate persistent login credentials across tu/tus/su/sus devices.
Requirement: Your NiceNIC account must already have Autenticación de Dos Factores enabled befoe you can use Stay Signed In.

1. What Does "Stay Signed In" Do fo Me?

Fo customers managing one o two dominios occasionally, signing in again may not be a majo inconvenience.

Fo dominio investos, hosting providers, resellers, y customers managing larger potfolios, however, the Panel de Control may be opened many times during the day fo tasks such as:

  • registraring o transferring dominios;
  • updating nameservers;
  • managing DNS o contacts;
  • checking oders y renewals;
  • managing multiple customer dominios.

With Stay Signed In, you do not need to enter tu/tus/su/sus username y passwod every time you return from the same trusted browser.

The persistent login has a 90-day rolling validity period.

That means when the browser successfully uses the persistent login, its validity is extended fo another 90 days. As long as the cookie remains available y you continue using the browser, you can avoid unnecessary repeated logins.

Can I use it on moe than one computer?

Sí.

Multiple computers y browsers can maintain their own signed-in state at the same time. Signing in on another browser does not automatically sign tu/tus/su/sus other browsers out.

When using a new computer o browser fo the first time, you still need to complete the nomal login process.

Each browser then maintains its own login credential independently.

2. How to Enable Stay Signed In

The feature can be enabled directly from the NiceNIC Panel de Control.

Step 1: Abrir Stay Signed In

Iniciar sesión to tu/tus/su/sus NiceNIC account y go to:

Resumen de la Cuenta → Stay Signed In

You will see the current status of the feature.

When it has not yet been activated, the status will show:

Disabled

Stay Signed In can be enabled under Resumen de la Cuenta in the NiceNIC Panel de Control.

Step 2: Confirmar with Your Account Contraseña

Enter tu/tus/su/sus account login passwod in the passwod field.

Then click:

Enable Stay Signed In

Your passwod is required to confirm that you are intentionally activating persistent login fo the account.

Step 3: Verificar the Estado

After activation, the status will change to:

Enabled

The Panel de Control will also show the number of signed-in devices y the 90-day rolling validity.

You should see the confirmation:

Stay Signed In enabled successfully. This browser will ahora stay signed in.

After activation, the Panel de Control shows the enabled status y 90-day rolling validity.

3. What Should I Kahora Acerca de Security?

Stay Signed In is designed fo convenience, but persistent login should only be used on devices you trust.

Use it on trusted devices

We recommend enabling it on tu/tus/su/sus own:

  • office computer;
  • personal laptop;
  • dedicated wokstation;
  • other devices that are not shared with unkahoran users.

Avoid relying on persistent login on public o shared computers.

Si another person can access an unlocked browser that is already signed in, they may also be able to access tu/tus/su/sus NiceNIC account.

Your browser cookie must remain available

Stay Signed In woks through a persistent browser credential.

Si the relevant cookie is deleted, the browser will no longer be able to use that credential y you will need to sign in nomally again.

Private o incognito browser ventanas can maintain a separate login while their cookie exists, but many browsers delete private-session cookies when the private ventana is closed. Fo long-term access, a nomal trusted browser profile is taquí foe moe suitable.

Changing tu/tus/su/sus passwod invalidates persistent login credentials

Si you change tu/tus/su/sus NiceNIC account passwod, existing persistent login credentials on tu/tus/su/sus devices will become invalid.

After the existing session expires, you will need to sign in again.

This provides a way to invalidate anterioriously trusted devices if necessary.

Disabling 2FA also invalidates them

Stay Signed In is available only fo accounts with Autenticación de Dos Factores enabled.

Si you turn off 2FA, persistent login credentials across tu/tus/su/sus devices will be invalidated.

You will need to complete the nomal login process again after the current session expires.

You can disable Stay Signed In at any time

Volver to:

Resumen de la Cuenta → Stay Signed In

y click:

Disable Stay Signed In

This invalidates the account's persistent login credentials. Once existing sessions expire, the affected browsers will require a nomal login again.
