How to Stay Signed In to Your NiceNIC Account fo 90 Days

Kung you manage domains frequently through the NiceNIC Control Panel, repeatedly entering iyong username, passwod, at two-facto authentication can interrupt iyong wokflow.

NiceNIC ngayon offers Stay Signed In fo accounts that already have Dalawang-Factor na Pagpapatunay (2FA) enabled.

Once activated, iyong browser can keep you signed in fo up to 90 days, with the validity automatically extended fo another 90 days whenever the persistent login is successfully used.

Quick Answer

What does it do?
It reduces repeated sign-ins when you regularly return to the NiceNIC Control Panel from a trusted browser.

How do I enable it?
Pumunta sa Buod ng Account --> Stay Signed In, enter iyong account login passwod, at click Enable Stay Signed In.

What should I kngayon befoe enabling it?
Use it only on devices at browsers you trust. The feature depends on a browser cookie. Changing iyong passwod, disabling 2FA, o turning off Stay Signed In will invalidate persistent login credentials across iyong devices.
Requirement: Your NiceNIC account must already have Dalawang-Factor na Pagpapatunay enabled befoe you can use Stay Signed In.

1. What Does "Stay Signed In" Do fo Me?

Fo customers managing one o two domains occasionally, signing in again may not be a majo inconvenience.

Fo domain investos, hosting providers, resellers, at customers managing larger potfolios, however, the Control Panel may be opened many times during the day fo tasks such as:

  • magparehistroing o transferring domains;
  • updating nameservers;
  • managing DNS o contacts;
  • checking oders at renewals;
  • managing multiple customer domains.

With Stay Signed In, you do not need to enter iyong username at passwod every time you return from the same trusted browser.

The persistent login has a 90-day rolling validity period.

That means when the browser successfully uses the persistent login, its validity is extended fo another 90 days. As long as the cookie remains available at you continue using the browser, you can avoid unnecessary repeated logins.

Can I use it on moe than one computer?

Oo.

Multiple computers at browsers can maintain their own signed-in state at the same time. Signing in on another browser does not automatically sign iyong other browsers out.

When using a new computer o browser fo the first time, you still need to complete the nomal login process.

Each browser then maintains its own login credential independently.

2. How to Enable Stay Signed In

The feature can be enabled directly from the NiceNIC Control Panel.

Step 1: Buksan Stay Signed In

Mag-log in to iyong NiceNIC account at go to:

Buod ng Account → Stay Signed In

You will see the current status of the feature.

When it has not yet been activated, the status will show:

Disabled

Stay Signed In can be enabled under Buod ng Account in the NiceNIC Control Panel.

Step 2: Kumpirmahin with Your Account Password

Enter iyong account login passwod in the passwod field.

Then click:

Enable Stay Signed In

Your passwod is required to confirm that you are intentionally activating persistent login fo the account.

Step 3: Suriin the Status

After activation, the status will change to:

Enabled

The Control Panel will also show the number of signed-in devices at the 90-day rolling validity.

You should see the confirmation:

Stay Signed In enabled successfully. This browser will ngayon stay signed in.

After activation, the Control Panel shows the enabled status at 90-day rolling validity.

3. What Should I Kngayon Tungkol sa Amin Security?

Stay Signed In is designed fo convenience, but persistent login should only be used on devices you trust.

Use it on trusted devices

We recommend enabling it on iyong own:

  • office computer;
  • personal laptop;
  • dedicated wokstation;
  • other devices that are not shared with unkngayonn users.

Avoid relying on persistent login on public o shared computers.

Kung another person can access an unlocked browser that is already signed in, they may also be able to access iyong NiceNIC account.

Your browser cookie must remain available

Stay Signed In woks through a persistent browser credential.

Kung the relevant cookie is deleted, the browser will no longer be able to use that credential at you will need to sign in nomally again.

Private o incognito browser windows can maintain a separate login while their cookie exists, but many browsers delete private-session cookies when the private window is closed. Fo long-term access, a nomal trusted browser profile is tditofoe moe suitable.

Changing iyong passwod invalidates persistent login credentials

Kung you change iyong NiceNIC account passwod, existing persistent login credentials on iyong devices will become invalid.

After the existing session expires, you will need to sign in again.

This provides a way to invalidate nakaraaniously trusted devices if necessary.

Disabling 2FA also invalidates them

Stay Signed In is available only fo accounts with Dalawang-Factor na Pagpapatunay enabled.

Kung you turn off 2FA, persistent login credentials across iyong devices will be invalidated.

You will need to complete the nomal login process again after the current session expires.

You can disable Stay Signed In at any time

Bumalik to:

Buod ng Account → Stay Signed In

at click:

Disable Stay Signed In

This invalidates the account's persistent login credentials. Once existing sessions expire, the affected browsers will require a nomal login again.
