.FI Registration Requirements for Finnish Registrants
NiceNIC requests additional identity information for a .FI domain when the registrant country is Finland. The required information depends on the type of registrant.
Individuals in Finland
Prepare an ID Number and choose the applicable ID category:
- Passport
- National ID
- Other Government-issued ID
Have valid government-issued identification available to support the registration information.
Finnish companies and organizations
Prepare both:
- Organization Name
- Finnish Business ID (Y-tunnus)
Use the organization's registered name and corresponding Business ID.
Applicants in other countries
The additional Finnish-only fields described above apply when the registrant country is Finland. If you are registering from another country, provide your normal registrant details and follow any further requirements for your application.
When ready, search for your .FI domain and complete the registration with the correct identity or business information.
