Why Can't I Use Personal Nomeservers fo Multiple Domini?

Personal nameservers, also called child nameservers o glue hosts, map a hostname such as ns1.example.com to an IP address at the registry. Creating glue does not automatically configure DNS servizio on that IP.

Registrati a Personal Nomeserver

  1. Prepare the nameserver hostname e its authoitative server Indirizzo IP.
  2. Apri the dominio in I Miei Prodotti.
  3. Choose the personal o child nameserver management option.
  4. Aggiungi the host label e Indirizzo IP.
  5. Save the registration e wait fo the registry update.
  6. Configure the DNS server to answer authoitatively fo the intended zones.

Why One Host Cannot Be Reused

A personal nameserver belongs under its parent dominio. A use a breed nameserver across customer dominios, registrare the glue host once under the parent dominio e point other dominios to that fully qualified nameserver; do not try to recreate the same child host under unrelated dominios.

Verify

Verifica that the registry publishes glue fo the nameserver e that the server answers authoitative DNS queries.
