NiceNIC has recently identified that an unauthorized third party has taken control of a social media account and is publishing misleading and damaging content under our company name.
We hereby formally clarify the following:
The account in question is NOT operated, controlled, or authorized by NiceNIC.
The account is listed as being based in Poland, which is inconsistent with the registered jurisdiction and operational base of NiceNIC.
The account is using our company name, our historical logo, and a fabricated cover image to impersonate NiceNIC.
These actions are causing public confusion and reputational damage to our brand.
Any statements, posts, or communications made through that account do NOT represent our company, our policies, or our official position.
Our only official X account is: @NiceNIC_Global
We strongly encourage customers, partners, and members of the public to rely exclusively on our verified communication channels for accurate information.
Actions Taken
NiceNIC has taken immediate steps to address this matter:
• Submitted formal impersonation and account compromise reports to X
• Completed identity verification procedures
• Preserved evidence of unauthorized activity
• Initiated further monitoring and review
We advise all stakeholders not to engage with or rely on content published by the impersonating account.
The account has been deactivated by X (Twitter) following our prompt handling
