.VN and .COM.VN Registration: Documents and Signed Contract
To register a .VN or .COM.VN domain through NiceNIC, the registrant must be located outside Vietnam. Registrants located in Vietnam must use a domestic Vietnamese .VN registrar.
Supporting identification documents and a signed Registration Contract are required for the eligible applicants using NiceNIC.
Individual applicants
Prepare:
- Date of Birth
- A Passport or Government-issued ID
- Signed Registration Contract
Companies and organizations
Prepare:
- Organization Name
- Business Registration or Trade Mark Number
- Domain Administrator Name
- Administrator Date of Birth
- Administrator Passport or Government-issued ID
- Signed Registration Contract
The administrator's identification and date of birth are separate from the organization's business information.
How to proceed
- Confirm that the registrant is located outside Vietnam.
- Check the availability of the .VN or .COM.VN name.
- Prepare the documents for the individual or organization.
- Complete the order and provide the signed contract and supporting information through the required document-submission process.
If the registrant is located in Vietnam, apply through a local Vietnamese registrar instead.
