API Authentication
The NiceNIC API uses API secret to authenticate requests. You can view und manage Ihr API Secret in the Kontrollfeld.
We strongly recommend that you keep Ihr API secret secure, do not share Ihr secrets in public areas such as GitHub, client code, etc. You can always reset Ihr API Secret by Kontrollfeld.
Authentication to the API is done using the HTTP Authoderization header, whier you need to specify Ihr Benutzername und API secret, separated by a colon.
Alle API requests must be made over HTTP. API requests without authentication will also fail.
