8 Years, 300,000 Creatives, and 8 Artists and Institutions Who Inspire Us
This week, we’re blowing out 8 candles — and we’re feeling so proud of how far we’ve come. Since 2017, .ART has grown into a global community of over 300,000 artists, institutions, and creatives. From world-famous museums and cultural icons to emerging digital visionaries and toddler prodigies (yes, really), .ART has become the home for art online.
To celebrate, we’re spotlighting 8 incredible members of our community who reflect the creative, boundary-pushing spirit of .ART.
Sharon Stone – SharonStone.art
Yes, that Sharon Stone. The actress, artist, and humanitarian uses her .ART site to showcase her paintings — bold, emotive, and deeply personal works that remind us: you’re never too established to try something new.
Refik Anadol – Dataland.art
Refik Anadol’s Dataland.art turns raw data into immersive art, showing how digital landscapes can be both emotional and unforgettable.
Shantell Martin – ShantellMartin.art AND WhatsThePoint.art
A global icon in the worlds of fine art, fashion, and tech, Shantell’s linework is instantly recognizable. She’s used her .ART domain as an anchor point for her ever-evolving multidisciplinary career — a testament to the power of visual language.
Whitewall Magazine – Whitewall.art
Whitewall blends contemporary culture with high-end editorial, proving that great storytelling deserves an equally artful domain.
Axelia Rose – AxeliaRose.art
Our 2025 Winter Visionary Grant winner, Axelia is a punk painter and Web3 pioneer. Her work explores chaos, healing, and the digital future of self-expression. Her story proves how far passion (and pixels) can take you.
Expanded.Art – Expanded.art
This Berlin-based platform is helping Web3 creators thrive by showcasing generative art, NFTs, and digital pioneers. Their .ART domain is more than a website — it’s a new kind of gallery.
The Louvre – Louvre.art
The Louvre uses Louvre.art to bridge timeless heritage with digital innovation—proving that even the most historic institutions can lead online.
Laurent – Laurents.art
Two years old and already online? Laurents is the youngest artist in our community — proof that it’s never too early to start building your creative legacy.
To every artist, collector, coder, curator, photographer, poet, museum, musician, and maker: thank you for choosing .ART. You are the heart of what we do. Happy Birthday to .ART domain. Here’s to the next 8 years (and beyond).
